Community Resources For Children and Families

  • Horizons for Northwest Colorado is an organization that provides support and services to children who may have delays or disabilities and their families. Not sure if your family qualifies? Horizons can help you refer your child for evaluation if you have concerns.
  • Connections4Kids describes their mission as, “Strengthening the resources and services for children 0-8 and their families in Northwest Colorado!” They have full directories of resources and often sponsor events for children as well as education for parents and caregivers.
  • The Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) program provides nutrition education and food to children aged 0-5 and pregnant/breastfeeding mothers.
